Why you make me wait?
I mean really Hulu! Are all the shows I like now on HuluPlus for a week before I can get them for free? I mean seriously you are that annoying about getting more subscribers. You know the whole point of not getting cable and watching things online was to save money. I was counting on you and Netflix to keep me entertained for less than cable. But by doing this you are making cable and Torrent download look better.
I find all of these pay changes to services I used to get for less to be utter bull. I would rather the shows be free and I have to watch one or two more commercials. I am fine with that, but if you try to make me pay to see something on time its just a dick move.
In fact I am now watching Kitchen Nightmares the U.K. version and at least the first episode is crazy boring compared to the U.S. version. He is way less scary in this version and everything has less production.
The only thing I really love about this episode is the market. I wish I lived in a place where I could go to a market and not pay through the nose. I know people like farmers markets but they are crazy expensive. I want to go to Europe and go to the markets. I miss Europe.
This post is going sideways.
This is what happens when I have to work on Sunday. My student had her field hockey match changed so I have to come in and cover the phones for five hours and the only people to call have been one wrong number and some on trying to find the student center.
Bah!
Also the music at the commercial breaks make me smile. Its a horror show commercial noise. Its hysterical. They are taking the Nightmare part of the show serious.
Some one come save me! I am trapped in an empty college building and my brain is melting. I have the heating pad on my butt, because yeah.
Basically I blame Hulu and Netflix for my current situation.
There is a lot of awful out there. Awful Books. Horrible Movies. Television that makes you cringe. But sometimes they hit the wall of awful and spring back and land in a magical valley of Awful Good. I spend my spare time roaming this strange and dangerous realm searching for hidden gems, and tearing apart everything else. Nothing is safe.

Screw You Hulu
Thanks for being stupid about shows and now trying to get me to pay to see them in a timely manner. You know what, you and Netflix have increased my UTorrent use by ten fold. I hope you are happy now! This is why my generation doesn't pay for anything, because we can download it. I was trying to be nice but no you had to go and do this.

Tv Review: Black Butler
This is another one of my netflix finds, but unlike Sekirei this one is good. First off the story takes place in Victorian England which is one of my favorite time periods simply because of the stuff that happened and comes from that time, and the clothes.
Anyway so this little kid makes a contract with a demon to help him find the people who murdered his parents, in exchange the demon gets to devour his soul when he dies. But until the the demon is the kid's over perfect butler. There are lots of macabre stories lies and characters.
Then at the same time the other servants at the house are complete screw ups and that typical set of stereotypes present in anime. There are silly things happening every episode, and even some of the serious characters have moments of complete and utter stupid.
I am only halfway through the first season so I can't really say a whole lot more. But pretty much this show is two kinds of anime some how put together. Also the accents in the English version are not end of amusing.

Movie Review: Dorian Gray
Alright so back when the Chronicle of Narnia Prince Caspian came out my friend Sam and I became rather crazy about the guy playing Prince Caspian. I mean we thought he was hot shit. Mr. Ben Barnes was fought over at great length as to who would get him. Now I feel a bit bad that I never went to see the second Narnia movie is in. Anyway back to the point. After Caspian came out we stalked him on IMDB at about that time I found that he was going to appear in a movie called Dorian Gray. Now I am well read so I know the story and I was kind of stocked to see it was coming out in the not to near future.
So I waited and waited and waited for the movie to come out. There is a good chance that it never came out in the states. In fact I forgot about it until a few weeks ago when I was out of my mind bored and found the movie on the request options to order. Well I added it to my queue and carried on, then today it showed up in my mailbox. No one wants to watch it with me so here I am sitting watching it by myself.
Okay so right off the bat I am a wee bit creeped out by this odd tension between the painter and Dorian. I mean I was convinced they were going to make out. And then Colin Firth came in and I thought it was going to happen again. I was really messed up by that. Its a bit of a mind bend.
Also Colin Firth appears to be the one who is the bad guy at this point. He is making Dorian do bad things when he doesn't want to, like cheating on his girlfriend and then making them break up so that she kills herself. Colin Firth what are you doing? Now he just made Dorian ruin some girl's innocence and mind bend some old lady. Now he has done both mom and daughter, wow. Well now we are getting to the part were the painting turns bad, and they are making out! Ben Barnes stop that, come back here, no making out with the painter dude. Alright the painting screamed. It was really odd.
Also on a side note while all this is happening my boyfriend's parents are having some yelling fit about finding and S cable for the tv. Its rather comical. I mean really tense moment with Dorian while at the same time I can hear "Did you try the drawer? Yes I looked there. What about the basement?" Parents are fun like that.
After we get past the initially creepy part of this movie its not as scary as I thought it was going to be. I mean I really was expecting horror because all the trailers were for horror movies. I am really bad when it comes to horror movies, I am a massive pansy. So watching this movie originally was going to be a bit of a double edged sword for me because I was sure I was going to be freaking out. So far not scary, at least not to the point where I have a sheet over my eyes.
I am not really sure now if I liked the movie or not. I mean I enjoyed watching it and it freaked me out just a little bit but I don't feel sad that its over. Hmm another movie for the fence.
